Um sorry if this is a stupid question >.< but sometimes i see people talk about purebloods and vampire lines and stuff.. it all seems really cool but i dont know what they mean! my friend raises show dogs and they have like breeds and lineages and stuff but how would that work for vampires?

@Scarred_Wolf You’re not in trouble for asking. It’s a dangerous topic for discussion, however. Currently, vampire keeping is only legal if you don’t let them reproduce ever. Discussion of methods, identities of breeders, and any implication that anyone here condones or facilitates vampire reproduction can and will lead to a forum like this being taken down. That’s what happened to VampireKeeps forums, if you’re familiar.

Technically, all “pet” vampires are from a “line” and are distinct from wild type vampires. Some states and countries used to have more legal leeway for private owners in the past, which is how the classic “pet” vampire subbreeds were created. However, this can not and should not be done anymore, for the reasons stated above.
